Now hand sanitizers are everywhere. When you walk into a grocery store or department store they now greet you at every entrance and exit. There are many reasons why one should consider having such a disinfectant at all times. Here are just four:


  1. We are surviving during a pandemic- Most hand sanitizers claim they kill up to 99.9% of all germs. Living during these times has created different habits within many of us. Some of us don’t leave home without hand disinfectant, masks, and some even with gloves. A global pandemic has made us more aware of germ spreading and the repercussions it creates.

  2. While you’re out you might get hungry- When out and about, you never know when hunger may strike. After tackling a long list of errands you may get hungry and want to partake in that granola bar in your purse. With hand sanitizer you don’t have to worry about finding the nearest bathroom to clean your hands. Since it disinfects your hands you can have a little more comfort eating foods while you’re on the go. 

  3. If you have children- Children are always touching things and putting their hands in their mouth and nose. Caring around disinfectant especially with young children is essential. No parent wants to spend their days and nights checking temperatures and administering Tylenol. It's best to make every attempt to keep your children from getting a cold.

  4. You will help keep others safer- Using sanitizer not only helps to keep germs away from you but it also helps keep others around you healthier. The person who grabs the grocery cart after you won’t come into contact with as many germs. The last person you gave a high five to or handshake will not have as many germs passed along to them. Just like picking up an item on the grocery store shelves and then someone coming behind you and picking up that same item. Sanitizers help you consider others.

Hand disinfectants only known as purse accessories are a thing of the past. The supply and demand for hand sanitizer have fluctuated more this past year than ever before. At one point retail stores had a difficult time keeping them on the shelves.
